Norwell High School gets competitive with a New England Sports Inspired Spirit Week & Homecoming
September 24th will commence spirit week at Norwell High School. This year the students have chosen to get their game on and show their FANatical devotion to New England Sports Teams. All NHS students are encouraged to represent their designated team: Seniors – Patriots, Juniors – Red Sox, Sophomores – Bruins, and Freshmen – Celtics. The regular academic schedules will be enhanced with opportunities for students to play games, participate in challenges and competitions, all designed to show off their school spirit.
Norwell High School will continue the “Spirit Ticket” activity. Students will be ticketed by teachers and staff for demonstrating acts upholding the hallmarks of the school – integrity, learning, respect and responsibility. Teachers will also be on the lookout for acts of kindness, team work and best Clipper spirit. Students can then stuff their tickets in raffles at the in-school Pep Rally on Friday to receive prizes. Everyone is encouraged to come out and cheer on the Clippers at the Friday night (9/28) Homecoming Football Game – Norwell vs. East Bridgewater – scheduled for 7:00pm. The highlight of the week will be the Homecoming Dance, Saturday September 29th from 7:30pm – 10pm (doors open at 7pm). NHS Students, Staff and parent volunteers are hard at work planning for the homecoming festivities.
