Save Our Sub-Varsity Sports

Our student-athletes need your help.

After the override failed this spring, many of our sub-varsity high school teams will discontinue. The impact will be felt mostly by our freshman and sophomore players, who will lose the opportunity to compete just as they try to become part of the high school community. Our upperclassman also run the risk of losing in a “numbers game” as coaches juggle roster spots for each grade to balance out their teams.

Boosters and Norwell youth sports teams do not want our student-athletes to lose the opportunity to participate in scholastic sports which creates a unique environment for them to develop and value life skills such as grit, determination, resilience, hand-eye-coordination, physical fitness, and life balance.
